When La Mela Ristorante first opened twenty five years ago, its primary focus was to offer high quality affordable Italian cuisine in addition to a unique cultural dining experience. Today, this sentiment still stands.
La Mela Ristorante is a well known staple of Mulberry Street in NY’s Little Italy.
Our customers are family, that is why we display our family photos on our large TV screens throughout the restaurant and our walls are papered with photographs of our customers over the years, including celebrities from Bill Murray to Frank Sinatra.

DIRECTIONS BY CAR: By car, get onto Broadway, go south until Grand St. Take a left onto Grand St., go down three blocks and take a left onto Mulberry Street. La Mela is on the left 1/2 block down.
DIRECTIONS BY SUBWAY: Train #6 stopping at Spring Street & Mulberry. Up the stairs, left, then up one block to corner. Right onto Mulberry St. Two and a half blocks up to La Mela. Or All trains stopping at Canal Street. Walk east on Canal Street. Turn North on Mulberry Street. We are located three and a half blocks up on the left.
