Life’s Joys Still to be Found at the Life Enrichment Center at Oyster Bay! Fun Doesn’t Have an Expiration Date.
We are a vibrant senior center providing social activities and vital services to help older adults stay active, healthy and engaged.
Our extensive Health & Wellness program includes unique exercise classes, lectures as well as a fitness center.
Our day program offers lunch and transportation, socialization, activities, comprehensive social services, a non-emergency medical and dental transportation service, a shopper’s bus, health screenings, educational classes, local trips, entertainment and caregiver support. A Social Model Adult Day Care program is also available for the frail and memory-impaired.
Our evening program offers customized activities for older adults who are looking to get out for an evening. Some of the evening activities include: Strength Training, Pilates, Yoga, Cooking Demos, Open Mic Night, Watercolor Painting, Social Mixers and much more.
Services are offered five days a week, 250 days a year.
There’s no shortage of great things happening at the Center!
We place great importance on celebrations and having fun! So we always find a reason for a party, bake sale, fundraiser or special celebration. For in-house events, members and staff alike do an out-of-this-world splendid job of transforming our main hall in to a glittering, in-theme venue. Our annual gala, an off-site major fundraiser for the Center, is always fabulously city-themed and well attended by supporters and friends from the community.
The Life Enrichment Center at Oyster Bay is available to Nassau County, New York residents aged 60+ and transportation service is provided to Oyster Bay, NY and the surrounding incorporated villages including: Bayville, Brookville, East Norwich, Lattingtown, Locust Valley, Mill Neck, Matinecock, Muttontown, Oyster Bay Cove and parts of Syosset and Woodbury.
We also continue to receive seniors from beyond our catchment area who, with their own transportation, access the Center from Hicksville, Bethpage, Plainview, and other places around Long Island.
