IT BAGEL & PIZZA is a revolution in the high-speed service of fine-quality food.

Founded in Oyster Bay in 2018, IT BAGEL & PIZZA is reinventing the traditional bagel store & slice joint by replacing tired, industrialized, pre-packaged fast food with local, natural, chef-curated, scratch made, everyday cuisine. By emphasizing a true “guest-first” dining environment with our design aesthetic, comfort & in-house services, IT BAGEL & PIZZA elevates all aspects of customer service.

IT BAGEL & PIZZA strongly believes in traditional cooking methods, no matter how long they take. Whether that’s the slow fermentation of our bagel and pizza dough, wood-fire roasting chicken for our chicken salad or the brining of our signature sliced pickles, we believe that the most interesting and complex flavors cannot be developed in a rush. Don’t worry! That doesn’t mean it takes us a long time to put food on your plate. By the time you walk in, all the hard work has already been done, all the time has already been spent. So whatever your time demands, you can count on IT BAGEL & PIZZA serving you in minutes, even if getting there took us days.


Not only is the food and décor at IT BAGEL & PIZZA different from the traditional bagel shop & slice joint, but so is the service. We believe that the experience of eating in a restaurant is a considerable upgrade to eating in a fast food establishment in a number of ways. We try to maintain as much of the restaurant experience as possible, without adding time or extra cost. We call this style of dining FINE COUNTER, and it is our goal to become the paramount food service establishment of this type anywhere.

We’re defining Fine Counter Service by delivering many aspects essential to the full service experience, but closer to the price of a quick-service restaurant. Elements core to the IT BAGEL & PIZZA ethos include, but will not be limited to:

  • Use of only the highest quality ingredients on par with those of full-service restaurants
  • A chef-developed menu featuring only scratch-made products
  • A chef-trained staff of kitchen employees
  • Kitchen/chef prepared food (as opposed to counter staff)
  • Use of plates, silverware, glassware, etc. when dining on premises
  • Rigorous education on food, food safety, beverage, etc. through the entire organization
  • Comprehensive design & décor to create an immersive, comfortable, engaging dining environment

SOCIALLY & ENVIRONMENTALLY RESPONSIBLE: IT BAGEL & PIZZA embraces social and environmental responsibility and strives to be on the cutting edge of food-service establishments with regard to:

  • Reduction of food waste and creative solutions to waste utilization
  • Reduction of ancillary waste (plastic, paper, etc.)
  • Promotion of recycling and responsible disposal of waste (composting, etc.)
  • Engagement with local organizations/charities
  • Regular donation of overstock, old product (et al) to local charity
  • Community outreach/engagement
