North Star Orchards
Established in 1986, North Star Orchards started as a small roadside stand open only during the Fall months. Selling only the apples from a newly planted orchard, the farm grew over time as well as the size of roadside stand. Extending earlier into the season allowed for more opportunity, as well as fulltime business for George and Elaine Joseph. Today the market is open 8 ½ months a year, has an impressive in-house bakery, multiple greenhouses and cider press.
