Jimmy’s standup specials GUESS HOW MUCH and GOOD DEAL both premiered on Amazon Prime to rave reviews, clips of which continue to go viral on social platforms with hundreds of millions of views.
In his memoir, HOW TO AMERICAN, Jimmy writes about his experience of coming to America as an immigrant from Hong Kong – from learning English through BET Rap City to secretly becoming a Strip Club DJ to disappointing his parents by pursuing stand up comedy.
Jimmy O Yang is also a founding member of Crab Club Inc., a production company dedicated to amplifying original, authentic, and diverse voices in both TV and film projects. Alongside his partners Jessica Gao and Ken Cheng, Jimmy continues to champion inclusivity and representation in the industry.
