Our restaurant is available for catering of private events including wellness events and workshops, bridal parties, and more. Meet The Owner: Lauren founded Chakra Bowls in 2017, and began this journey based on a love for holistic health, and fueling her own self with healthy, nourishing foods. Realizing how beneficial this was, along with the void of healthy food options in the area, Lauren began a side hustle delivering smoothie bowls to friends, family, and soon–strangers. As thing continued to grow, Lauren made the leap and opened up the first brick-and-mortar in Poughkeepsie. Fast forward to 2023, and with continued growth, Chakra Bowls has landed its new location in the beautiful Eastdale Village. As a practicing yoga instructor, Lauren is grateful to have this space to offer special events like “Brunch and Balance” yoga classes. She is a Hudson Valley native, mom, wellness retreat host, and lover of all thing wellness and healing.
