Szechuan Mountain House is a Chinese restaurant in New York City. It opened in Flushing, Queens in 2016; additional locations opened in Manhattan’s East Village in 2017, Los Angeles and Boston in 2023.

Originating from the southwestern region of China, Szechuan cuisine is renowned for its mouth-numbing Szechuan peppercorns, tongue-tingling chili peppers, and aromatic spices. One of the defining characteristics of Szechuan cuisine is its liberal use of chili peppers and Szechuan peppercorns, which impart a distinctive heat and tingling sensation known as “mala.”
