A Therapeutic Approach to Psychiatric Care – Sarah Eiferman, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
I am a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner and I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings with a very diverse clientele.
I have experience treating many conditions including depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar and mood disorders, personality disorders, schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorders, and substance use disorders.
I have specialized training in treating those with dual diagnoses and am a registered buprenorphine prescriber. I use evidence-based practices along with what I’ve learned from my clinical experience in order to figure out how to navigate your symptoms and improve your quality of life.
I believe in a collaborative approach and will work with you to find a treatment plan that works for you, be it therapy, medication management, lifestyle changes, or a combination. I offer a friendly, empathetic approach that will support you in your journey forward.
Get Yourself Back On Track
“One small crack does not mean that you are broken, it means that you were put to the test and you didn’t fall apart.” — Linda Poindexter.
To be a human is to struggle. I believe in the value of mental health; it helps the quality of our emotional, psychological and social lives. I would like to help you manage your struggles so that you can achieve your goals, whatever they are, and find contentment.
Sometimes you feel like you can’t get yourself where you want to be despite your best efforts. My goal is to help get you there by way of a therapeutic approach to psychiatric care.
- Psychiatric Assessment – I take a supportive, holistic approach to discussing where you are now and where you want to be.
- Medication Management – I make sure that prescriptions are tailored exactly to your needs, and adjust them over time to help you accomplish your goals.
