Times may be tough, but this girl is tougher. Military forces join together to enlist all of the season's "utility chic" trends. Fashion outfits in khaki, brown, green, and olive commands the season's attention with patterns reflecting the military uniform. This winter, burnished metals, dog tags, military pins, epaulettes, Napoleon-styled jackets with high stand collars, camouflage, buckles, cargo pants, snaps, and admiral coats with an air of command in it all march into formation...


Wonder why fashion loves going regimental? Fashion is like a wave trying to catch something on the sand. It keeps evolving, morphing, and shifting constantly into something new; every time.

The military trend was initially popularized during the 1960s, only as a protest to the Vietnam War. Later, the craze spread rapidly as a mode of fashion - with the hippies taking all its credit. Trench coats, berets, jackets, and camouflage have enjoyed seasons of popularity for military inspired fashion.
